In a recent interview with 48 Hours producer Greg Fisher, Robert Baker, the convicted k*ller of Fabio Sementilli, gave a statement that his ex-girlfriend Monica Sementilli wasn’t involved in the homicide of her husband.
Robert said, “Monica did not know. She didn’t know s***. If she did find out, I would have been in here (jail) a lot sooner.
The proclamation completely shocked the CBS producer, who has been following the case since the brutal crime occurred in 2017.
Meanwhile, Monica, who has already been imprisoned for five years for conspiring against her husband Fabio Sementilli’s homicide, is facing Trial on April 2, 2024.
Her daughters Gessica and Isabella, whom Monica shared with her late ex-husband Fabio, are sticking by their mother’s side despite such accusations.

Monica Sementilli, the wife of slain beauty executive Fabio Sementilli, was accused of conspiring her husband’s mu*der alongside her then-lover, Robert Baker.
Back on January 23, 2017, Fabio’s daughter found him lifeless with stabbing wounds at his home in California.
While initially, officials assumed that the incident probably happened during the robbery, DNA evidence exposed the real face of the tragedy, proving it as a planned incident.
Five months later, Fabio’s wife Monica landed in prison alongside Robert, with whom she was having an extra-marital affair for over one and a half years.
Despite pleading not guilty, she spent five years before finally facing Trial on April 2, 2024.
While Monica is about to face Trial, her children are by her side, determined to prove her innocence. Her daughters, Gessica and Isabella, said, “We will continue to stand by our mother as we have done for the last six years, and we will fight for her innocence.”
