In 2016, Senator Cory Booker was dating Cleo Wade, an artist and Instagram poet who had previously been linked to Robert Pattinson.
The two were seen together at a fashion event called “29 Rooms” hosted by Refinery29.
They were spotted holding hands as they moved through the different rooms at the event, looking very much like a couple.

Booker was greeting people as they approached him, while Wade was friendly and patient with fans who wanted photos.
Booker mentioned that he had come to the event to see Wade’s work.
Wade had contributed to an art installation at the event, which featured a red bed with colorful pillows where people could lie down wearing headphones while watching a screen above.
Booker, who was known for his more reserved style, seemed a bit out of place at the Brooklyn event, which was held in a large warehouse in Bushwick and attracted celebrities like Jessica Alba, Priyanka Chopra, and Adrian Grenier.
Wade, who was 27 at the time, was originally from New Orleans.
She had worked as a stylist for Katy Perry and gained popularity on Instagram for her poems and mantras, attracting over 150,000 followers.
She was also involved in advocacy, serving on the creative council of Emily’s List, a pro-choice group, and on the board of the National Black Theatre in Harlem.
Now, Wade is engaged to Simon Kinberg, and Kinberg has two sons from his previous relationship.
In 2022, People magazine shared that Booker and actress Rosario Dawson had broken up after dating for two years. Despite the split, they stayed close friends.
In the begining of the relationship, he shared that they ended up talking for hours during their first conversation.
