Gila Valley musician Zaylie Windsor shared that her audition for the 23rd season of American Idol will air on March 30 at 7 p.m. Mountain Time on ABC and Hulu.
Windsor, who previously won the local Gila Valley Idol competition, auditioned in Nashville on October 31.

Zaylie Windsor’s parents, Chrissy and Casey Windsor, are overjoyed by everything she has accomplished.
As the eldest daughter in the Windsor family, Zaylie, who grew up alongside her younger sister, Kendal, has always held a special place in their hearts and remains their favorite.
Chrissy and Casey Windsor supported Zaylie, 18, when she announced that she would sing the National Anthem at a Colorado Rockies Spring Training game.
After all, Zaylie invited everyone to cheer on the Rockies at Salt River Fields in 2024.
Further, Zaylie’s mother, Chrissy, shared an emotional post, saying how Zaylie was performing at her very first ticketed show, marking a full-circle moment from when she bought her first electric ukulele at 13.
Chrissy expressed how proud she and her family are of everything Zaylie has achieved.
She also thanked everyone who has taught, encouraged, booked, and cheered on Zaylie’s passion and drive for music.
The same year in 2024, Zaylie’s mother shared a post with her friends, saying that Zaylie had some exciting opportunities to record music and was looking to help cover the costs.
To do so, she sold cute bubble heart necklaces for $10, making a great Valentine’s Day gift.
Chrissy mentioned that anyone interested could comment with their desired color, and payment could be made via cash or Venmo (@zaylie1022).
There were 20 necklaces in each color, with a 20” cord and extender.
Chrissy Windsor works as a special education teacher at SUSD.
She studied at Eastern Arizona College and graduated from Safford High School.
